Peacetime

Peace at last, Kendrick. I suppose we can finally put our feet up.

Belgium needs rebuilding. Austria and Serbia remain at odds. Ending the war hasn't settled the continent.

Nor the Empire. Irish Home Rule, demands for a greater voice in India... peace seems to come with rather a lot of work.

Could W.P. lend a hand?

Not diplomacy. He's more of a shoot-first fellow. Besides, Oxford has him guest lecturing for the next few weeks.

Guest lecturing? At Oxford?

Quite. His lectures on Hegel are particularly well regarded.
